This is a dumb move. Prime is going to flop in the the big boys league. Prime is a fraud. Not sure if yall remember but he opened two charter schools in Texas (called Prime) with all kinds of fanfare, bravado, promises of hope to disadvantaged kids... Both had to be shut down by the state because of rampant fraud, mismanagement…

He’s Colorado’s problem at this point. Colorado is a school that has struggled mightily since their golden era of that late 80s and early 90s. They are reaching to try to bring light back to their program. Time will tell how it works, but this is a Colorado problem at not LSU’s. Anyone who chooses to join him will just have to figure it all out in terms of what is best for them.

What we shouldn’t be doing is trying to bash a man for taking a step up like this. Happy for Prime, happy for Phillips. Seems like Prime is hiring a competent staff. I’m intrigued.

I would disagree. Running a big time football program involves a great deal of management, from operations to boosters. If he can't win over the boosters he will fail.

I agree with this.
I listened to Prime’s welcome speech to the Colorado team and it was real cringey. All about himself and how he’s going to cut most of the players. It was weird. He said “I’m coming” about 100 times.

Prime at JSU was a Saban in 09-19 kind of facade. Had more elite talent than anyone else and could rely on that talent to solely win them the games. You could probably run the table with 3*s in FCS let alone 4-5*s that Prime had playing against Southern 2x a year for a "Championship"

Not sure he’s purposely a fraud but even a bigger red flag to me is he’s only going to have feet and legs for a very short time. He’s already had amputations and multiple vascular surgeries. Feel bad for the dude.

I enjoyed his speech because to me he let them know step up or step out. You would would be in the portal after that speech I would be in the weight room.That team won 1 game last year and been under.500 for forever. Why the hell would you want to keep those players.
