I do not believe that. he would still be required to complete passes, more of them in fact.

his confidence is shot because of his screwing up so many throws. ever see a shortstop or third baseman suddenly have problems with the throw to first? it messes with their heads. golfers missing short putts, catchers not being able to make the throw back to the pitcher, etc, etc

BH has a great arm and can run the football. his downfall is passing accuracy. short and simple.

He will and he should. This was the 2nd game of his junior year. His college career has just reached the halfway mark.

Bruh. Did some white dude pee in your corn flakes? You really need to stop the racist insinuations on this board. Believe it or not dang near everyone on this board could not care less about race. Like Etling said, they just want to win.

I posted this earlier today. Harris can actually benefit from watching from the sideline if he so chooses. Or he can sit and pout ... it's really all up to him.

Ohio St and USC were recruiting BH. Not because he sucked that's for sure.

If Urban Meyer and Tom Herman saw enough in BH to recruit him BH isn't the problem with this offense.

Its play calling and always has been.

If he beats Etling out for the job fair and square, or if Etling starts to struggle, then by all means BH should get another shot. Other than that, it should be Etling's job to lose and the coaches should support him 100%.

Not all of it but part of it. Miles said he is having issues.

Yes. None of the Bama QB's were great arms and talents, just cerebral, composed and well=prepared.

Been saying all along, switch out the LSU and Bama Qb's over the last 6 years, and the title count would be split evenly.

I agree Harris needs to be more accurate and make better decisions at times but when you only throw 13 to 14 passes a game its hard to get into a rhythm.

Ask any

If BH wants back in, he needs to go and watch last year's FL game over and over. Kid needs to get his confidence back more than anything. And I honestly could care less who the starting QB is. Put the guy in that gives us the best opportunity to win. If Harris makes a remarkable comeback this year, so be it. If Etling has taken the reigns and never looks back, good for him.

Etling came in cold and completed 6/8 for 100 yards and made great decisions with the ball. Harris is either over-thinking things or he just doesn't get it.

That may be part of it but Miles said he out preforms in practice but can't relax during the game and it's effecting his decisions. Coaching may be confusing him...I don't know.

I wish Etling all the luck in the world. I hope LSU runs the table from here on.

I just hate to most of the rant,( not all) saying this kid is a terrible when the issue is play calling a running too much.

Look, I have supported BH from day one because he is from north la. However, it has become clear that he just doesn't have what it takes to compete at that level. His freshman year he showed that he had not remotely grasped the playbook. It was likely because his high school team did not have a complicated scheme and he basically chucked It long most of the game. He also did not display the discipline required to play at that level. We all thought that this would be corrected with maturity. However, not much has changed. I am as disappointed as anyone, but I must acknowledge the truth and move on. I wish him the best and hope he overcomes his shortcomings.

I saw Harris go over to Etling and give him a high five after his first TD. Rantards are creating a narrative that doesn't fit reality and in the process destroying anything left of Harris' confidence or desire.

BH will be ok. As soon as Etling starts stinking up the joint like BH did the rant will start questioning his character too.

I missed the post where BH was having his character questioned because of his poor play. Could you shoot me a link?

I saw his character questioned because he intentionally and willfully missed the singing of the alma mater with all of his teammates. That is indicative of selfishness and selfishness is a character flaw.

Pouting and leaving your team to celebrate a victory doesn't fit my lifestyle at all.
He's suppose to be a leader.

It's juvenile.

Maybe with the pressure off, he will prove to be a great back-up QB. Would be a shame if he never saw the field again.
