This wasn't a thread complaining about it, just making an observation (no, I'm not Isaac fricking Newton
) There's been a lot of speculation about where we'd be ranked, and I just think this confirms that we'll likely start out behind the other two teams in the big 3 coming into the season.

LSU will start either 2 or 3. They weren't going to be #1 anyways. The media loves them some USC.

I thought the same thing before the coaches put us at 1. I honestly thought that might sway some writers, although I agree, I thought USC would edge us by a couple of points.
But I also thought it would be short lived even if we got #1, because Bama will jump both LSU and USC after they beat Michigan week 1.
