I agree with this for the most part. I’ll give it until the end of the weekend before I completely write off the possibility of a firing. What I’m telling myself is that Verge is probably frantically trying to come up with the money. They know that bringing this back is as popular as herpes. If they are waiting until now to get $$ in place or if they can’t get non-Wade $$ together, then that is incompetent leadership.

There is NO reason for a coach to come to LSU for next season. We will suck.
He had more talent at NC state than was here at LSU, and he struggled.

Yes. You are clearly not paying attention to what he didn’t say. He never said he would not consider the LSU job if open.
He prefaced everything in that statement by the LSU job is not open. Once that changes, he can then change his mind. It is amazing to me how many people bought that non-answer, hook, line, and sinker.

So a fair weather fan has had season tickets since the 80s? I typically watch every game in person, when possible or on tv if I can’t. I’ve lived through the good and bad Brown years, the good and Bad Brady years, the Trent and Johnny years and the Wade era. I’ve never been more disappointed than the last 4 seasons. I can’t continue to support this. I think you underestimate how bad the apathy is.
