Lmao.. Gumps crack me up. Goschaux an end ?? We still have one of the top D's n sec. They've gotten lucky breaks and/or calls 2 out of last 3 games. Deep down they know we've outplayed them. They fear Lsu because they can never guarantee a sure win.

Everyone is looking at their D vs. our O, but I think the game is won by our D-Line.
Their O-line isn't amazing and we'll get some pressure on Coker and force a couple of turnovers.
Their D will slow us down and I don't expect to score over 30 but I can see a 27 - 21 type game.

A gump will never concede that Bama was beaten by a better opponent. Ever. Poor winners and even worse losers.

Damn, that board is a posigump circle jerk.
As opposed to this one being a PosiLump (LSU version of a Gump) c j.

Look in the mirror. What do you see? It's the same thing here as over there, just toned in different colors.

Crimson and White Pumpers there. Purple and Gold Pumpers here.....................

Actually the comments aren't quit as bad as they could be. Granted we are talking about the sub-human, filthy garbage called Gump Nation with their comments. But all considering some of the comments were fair. I've seen far worse delusion and rantardness from Gumps on the MBs.

Bama's front 7 is awesome! Best in CFB. Their LBs are not as good as the 2011 unit that was one of the best units in the past quarter century. But this may be the best DL Saban ever had up to this point in T-Town.

Their DBs play is not at the level of play of 2011-2012 period. They can be beat in coverage and we know Saban likes to put his corners on an island and trust their skills and preparedness to compensate for matchups vs top tier receivers. Ole Miss took advantage of this and even aTm had their moments. But this bunch is not his most talented. Not slouches mind you. But Dupre and Dural will have their chances vs. them.

This will be the difference in the game IMHO. Harris has scrambling ability that Coker does not. Coker reminds me of Mett in a lot of ways. If we can get pressure on the QB it will be a long night for 'Bama. This is assuming we continue to take care of the football and not pull an AtM. This game is LSU's to lose. We probably will NOT be favorite since the game is at 'Bama but I like our chances much better than years past. WE have always played 'Bama close no matter the rankings. This year should be no exception. Geaux Tigers!

Quite possibly as dumb as the stuff in the link.

Bo supposedly ran a 4.2, that's Olympic caliber sprinting. I bet LF is a 4.5 guy. I know the difference is 3 tenths but they are world's apart.

Gotta love the Gumps

"LF is nowhere in Bo's zipcode when it comes to speed".

What?

I think my biggest takeaway after reading some of that is fans don't really watch other teams very closely. They look at the box score and see that LSU is giving up about 3 TD's a game. No one seems to notice that most of those scores come in the second half after LSU has a lead.

Word, but Alabama has scored more in the second half than first half this year (I think it is 133 points to 116 points). Maybe not too significant, but I guess every point counts.

We just can't let them come back in the second half if we're up at halftime. And, I think Fournette reaching 100 yards before halftime is key. I think we can do it. I really don't want to lose to them again.

"In our last 13 quarters of football in Tuscaloosa, we've scored a grand total of 4 TDs. Yes, that includes the 2011 OT win."

I'm surprised it's that many.

I expect this year's game to go like most of the recent ones, a brutally contested affair. If we win, I think we will see some of these guys making plays in the passing game: Diarse, Quinn, Johnson, Smith, Jeter. I suspect Bama will hold their own against Fournette and our two main threats on the outside but can the rest of our guys make them pay for it? I'm thinking yes.

I really hope all the gumps think LF7 is a 4.5 guy, so we can watch their faces stare in shock as he beats the entire secondary in a foot race down the field.

But i would pay good money for Harris0 to be the one that dominates BAMA.

This is what I believe is going to happen. Harris is going to be the MVP of the game if LSU is to win. I'm not talking 300 yards and 3 tds....But I do believe he will make some critical plays with both his arm and legs and will have a couple hundred yards passing and a couple tds. LF will get his yards.....I'm guessing 150-170.

People don't quite get BH yet....but after this game...there will be no more questioning if LSU is one dimensional. It'll be the biggest turnaround in quite some team......a team going from supposedly not having a passing game or qb to that same team having the best qb in the league...all in one season.

People tend to put way too much importance on total yards.....for instance, Ole Miss throws the ball 40 times a game....and thus has more yards than LSU has throwing the ball....so swag is obviously better than BH right?

I've seen some of their fans post that he has "just above average" speed.

not exactly true with all pumpers all the time on LSU boards...we have people like:

quote:

semjase

to try and shite all over LSU at every chance they get.....not just you either....there is a long list of supposed LSU fans that live to rip on LSU....offering up comments such as "No way LSU beats bama"....."Miles can't beat Saban...fact"....etc.

Quinn,

I'm not one of the Quinn groupies....although I do think he is quite capable and should be getting more of a look...

that said, I think it would be pretty sweet vindication for him if he were to make a huge play that propelled LSU to a W.....

apparently they haven't watched much of LF....how many different times against different secondaries has he exploded through a hole and won a foot race against multiple defensive backs....are all of these db's from all of these teams all 4.5 or slower?....because they don't usually gain any ground, and if they do it is usually due to an angle...
