Basically, O said he hired Canada to please the fan base, when he really wanted Ensminger all along. Geez, I wonder why it didn’t work out with Canada?

You continue to be up for the most ignorant poster award. EVERYBODY knows that a condition of O getting the HC job last year was to go out and hire the best OC that we could buy. O DID NOT have the opportunity to hire Steve - which he would have. Alleva and the BOS wanted a big name, we hired him, overpaid him $1.5m, and he was a disaster on the field and off. That's how it went down -- not what you wrote.

89% in the red zone 2 decades ago is BS. What matters is we didn't get to the red zone against Bama with Steve calling plays with FOURNETTE and Guice didn't get a yard to go the Sugar Bowl. As far as I'm concerned, Steve failed his audition.
Somebody should have asked Ed if he wanted Freeze or not. I could've gotten behind that hire.

Can you imagine the toxic environment Canada had to work in? You come in thinking you are in charge of Offense and you have O and the entire staff against you and wanting someone else. All the while trying to install a brand new scheme.
I bet is was pretty tense.
On the bright side if we won 9 games with that toxic environment then maybe we can win more with everyone working together.

Whoever is the OC LSU has to be able to run the ball on great teams and they need a great QB to run & throw effectively. Dominate O-linemen which we haven't had. Hopefully that's changing.

I have no I'll will towards Steve, can't fault a guy that loves his alma mater and just takes a promotion with higher pay. It's his bosses that need all the hate as Steve should have never been considered.

If you watched Steve Ensminger's press conference and dont feel like he deserves an opportunity, then you aren't a Tiger Fan. Steve its a Tiger, you can be assured he will give this job 1000% and he will succeed.
He wasnt my first choice, but after watching his emotional speech I realized we have an exceptional coach to lead our Tigers.
