1st and 10: Kenny Hilliard off right tackle for a gain of 2 in a 2 TE set. Cam wanted to call a play action but got overruled by Miles.
2nd and 8: Toss dive to LF over the left guard. Cam wanted to call a pass play out of the shotgun and 4 WR set but got overruled by Miles.
3rd and 7: Miles's hands are tied and it's an obvious passing down. Cam calls a pass play and rolls BH out to the strong side, out runs the Auburn blitz and hits Dural for an 8 yard gain on a comeback route.

I like your attitude, and obvious knowledge of the coaching staff.

PA to Dupre for a 30 yard gain on a double move.

If this were true. Why would he continue to work for Coach Miles?

One of the highest paid coordinators in college?
Seriously, I don't believe Miles overrules Cam as much as we think.

Sweet. Good coaching by Miles. Moving the chains.

Run, Run, Pass for 4 yards, Punt is bad. Goes for 30 yards. Les wants to ease his true freshman QB into things on the road and is trying to protect him with safe plays so he doesn't make a mistake. Auburn is ready for it though and sells out to stop LSU in their tracks.
Auburn gets the ball and goes down the field and scores.
LSU is now behind 7-0 and the crowd is going crazy and Harris' confidence is shaken because we did not play to his strengths. Another run for no gain. Another run for small gain. Les is starting to realize that his OLine cannot push 10 men out of the box from a bunch formation. Calls a pass and Harris gets sacked. A good punt this time.
He comes off the field shaking his head and all of the magic from the past 2 weeks is gone and Jordan Hare goes ballistic. Auburn gets the ball again and busts a 60 yard TD run and we are now down 14-0 and Les looks like he has no idea what is going on.
I hate to say it, but I can TOTALLY see that happening. And, it isn't because our guys are not good players or that they don't have the will or "WANT" to fight. It is because our coaches do not put them in position to WIN and our defense is garbage.
So, down 14-0 and suddenly, we have to find an offense, but Harris is a FRESHMAN and cannot hear himself think and makes a bad mistake. Auburn, at home, takes advantage of it and the game is now 17-0 and basically out of reach.
Wait, did I just describe the Miss. State game? Yep. I can see the same thing happening here.

But, if we go out gunslinging and try to get some momentum and Harris GAINS confidence and quiets that crowd, it could turn into a fun day. More important than trying to protect Harris is to let him loose. If he can have a good drive or two, he will gain confidence and he will cease to be a true freshman on the road for the first time. His success will build on itself.

Each of the first 3 offensive plays will be TD passes to Dupre.

I think this is dead on. This game is going be mental gymnastics with our own players. Surely CLM realizes the OL isn't going to block as well as the last few years. Just let lose and see what happens.
