Yes I know a few of y'all wish I would've been successful

Personally, I admire your courage for admitting this in a public forum and trying give some insight from another perspective. I hope things are better now and anyone who wished you'd been successful is a piece of shite.

That's awful. Lost my bro 2 years ago. The hardest thing you'll go through.

So sorry to hear this. Terribly sad. Can't imagine the kind of pain someone must be in to want to leave. Prayers for zach and his family.

It's rational to think that way, but often these people aren't rational and see no hope. That's extremely sad. I agree that I wish they could see themselves out of whatever the circumstances may be. I'm just glad there's more awareness to this type of stuff and less stigma. I still don't think it should be labeled selfish and I hope the family members can find some peace. Some people would say we are selfish wanting them around. I'm not saying that. I prefer other alternatives. I think it just depends on each individual circumstance as to whether it's "selfish." And not really our place to judge that. Yeah a guy who murdered a ton of people then takes his life.. especially to avoid capture.. yeah, that's selfish.

Sorry for all y'all's losses. That's rough.

My father is in D.C. right now to meet with congress next week to ask for a little more funding for mental illness. There's such a huge problem in this country surrounding this area.

There's a suicide walk in Gonzales the same weekend as the Ole Miss game. My father helps organize this with AFSP. Would love for more people to come and support the cause as well as remember the loved onces we lost to suicide.

I'm trying to help my dad get this moved to BR so it can gain more support. Other cities have a larger event with more support. Would love to have one of the biggest in the country. This is such a huge issue that many people don't understand.

I am not going to give the "typical" prayers sent response. What I will give is what the Bible SAYS about death...Genesis 3:19, Psalms 146:4, Ecclesiastes 9:5;10, Ezekiel 18:4, Acts 24:15, John 5:28;29.
