What did Saban say? When I clicked on the video I got the question but it ended before the answer started.

I will tell you the correct answer. The NOLA No Call was the worst call (or non call) I have ever seen in any sport at any level. The PP7 interception was the worst call that could have been overturned by replay and wasn't.

Did you read about that football game a couple weeks ago where the field-goal was good, they reviewed it and said it was no good, and the referees weren’t even paying attention it was a total cluster frick

The best part of the interview was when Nick said that he wanted to come back to LSU afrer leaving Miami.

Edit: yall can downvote me all you want but listen to the damn podcast. He said it.

Fact. He did. He called Richard Gill while he was at Miami. He asked Richard to help him get back to LSU as head coach. For those who do not know, Richard was an influential businessman who gave a great deal to LSU. He was so powerful he was allowed on the field with the team for every game. He told me about this call personally one night at dinner at Bonefish Grill while we were having drinks. Sadly Richard died after contracting a mysterious illness on a trip to China.

Jesus Christ, LSU could have been a multi dynasty. It’s like missing out on Britney Spears because your dad forgot to pay the phone bill. f- Les Miles.

Skip talked openly about him turning down Saban on Hanny & Otts show one day probably like two years ago. I was shocked how openly he talked about it. Said something to the effect that with hindsight he would have kicked Les to the curb

He knew he was way over his head as a NFL head coach after his first season. Had envoys float the possibility and it got a little attention. Started gaining some steam but each side felt they were doing the other a favor....then Alabama showed interest and was told thanks no thanks but became a bargaining chip to try to squeeze out some relief on bad business deals....pride kicked in, old grievances were renewed, things cooled down..looked like Rich Rod was going to Bama. He backed out and Bama opened back up and was desperate, fixing the business deals and the opportunity to be in the same division on a yearly basis. After the Arkansas tie in 07 Things heated back along with the Miles to Michigan talk. Then chaos ensues, LSU gets in the championship which shuts down Michigan and gives a certain person the backing to tell Saban GFY like he wanted to for years. In response, Alabama gets ESPN to have the narrative changed from gutsy Miles going for it five times on fourth down to quirky, goofy les only won with Sabans players...two birds with one stone. The rest is history.

LSU would’ve had the ball at their 40 down 21-15 if PP7’s INT stood. Very winnable. Excuse me while I go throw up.

BOTH feet were in!!!

I had heard that Saban inquired about purchasing his former home on Highland Road. I assumed it was a negotiating ploy.
