He keeps alluding to Ed using the "body hurts" excuse so not to "hang Arik out to dry and reveal dirty laundry." What is Ed protecting Arik from others hearing, as matt said?

Marijuana issues and Gilbert feels cheated with Brady leaving and Linehan coming in. The body hurting thing was bullishit that only added more fuel to the fire, and it will hurt Gilbert’s career and reputation.

Yeah he must have hit his 3 strikes. At LSU you have three strikes for getting caught with drugs, after that you have to serve a suspension.

Orgeron threw him under the bus by saying something ridiculous even if it was to cover up something else. He basically called Gilbert a frickibg pussy on the radio.

I know the same arguments are always made, but why is it an issue when someone has marijuana issues, but if someone has a drinking problem.. Its no big deal?

No one knows the whole truth. It comes down to who you want to believe. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. I just hope we can get him back on campus next season, but it doesn't look good!

The law?
I personally think all drugs should be legal, even heroin and crack, but they currently are not.
It’s not surprising that a public university takes issue with breaking the law.
