I wanted to fly in for the game but I just got back to Abu Dhabi from 20 days in Bangkok, Hua Hin and Phuket, and 3 days in Bombay. So, I will just watch it on TV and cook a big Gumbo, fried softshell crabs, a potato salad and garlic bread.
I still have some of my own recipe homemade chicken jalapeno sausage (fresh & smoked) that I made in Lafayette in January that is vacuum sealed and frozen and some andouille I brought back in late January after holidays. Chicken thighs are plentiful at nearby Lulu supermarket.
Will invite a few friends to watch who live here working in the oil & gas industry.

Saturday - bar hop Beer Park, Tailgate Social, and Blondie’s. Bet on the games. Saturday night Comedy Cellar at Rio. Then card tables and bed.
Sunday - LSU tailgate at Bar Code Burger, whoop USCs arse, then take the red eye home

Round trip from Houston, Sunday - get to LV, drive to Zion.
Hike the Narrows at Zion on Monday, Leave Zion Tuesday, go to Bryce Canyon for the day, drive to Page Arizona. (Not 100% about Bryce yet only because it will be a lot of driving)
Wednesday, kayak Lake Powell and Lower Antelope Canyon and hike (4 hours total)
Thursday, head to Grand Canyon South Rim.
Friday morning back to Vegas, hotel and bar hop, see a show Saturday night, watch the Tigers whip the Trojans on Sunday, fly back Monday morning.
Probably too much packed in, but should be a good trip.
