50-50 until the second game.
If they play well and lose on a fluke play, I'll still be on the train. If Daniels misses receivers, fumbles, and plays similar to last season, I'm getting off at the first station.

This should be a playoff team.

I was listening to Hester on Friday on the radio and he made a big point that I have made too but he illustrated much better.

In the Top 10 preseason there are 5 teams who are the usual suspects with quality rosters (Bama, UGA, TCU, tOSU, PSU). None of these teams have a returning QB.
The other 5 all have Heisman candidates (LSU, FSU, USC, UW, Mich).
The odds of the first 5 I listed winning it all with a 1st yr QB aint good. Gotta get while the gettin is good! Guarantee BK and staff know this…

After learning that Kaleb Jackson is 230lbs, fastest rb, and healthy it’s possible the Tigers make the playoffs. I believe they can win it all.

That is what did it for you?

You are pinning your hopes on a true freshman rb that has been hurt and just gor to campus. Oh yeah, he is buried behind about 12 other rbs.

LSU may not win the NC this season (it’s really hard to do). But there is NO reason why expectations shouldn’t be that high this season.

Really all the boxes are checked for it to happen

5 yr qb(2nd in system)
Plenty solid rbs with experience. Each one brings something a little different.

O line has two bookends with a year to gel. Wide receiver and tight end rooms are deep.

D line is deep and has two elite guys on it.

Linebackers are stacked as far as top 2. Have a guy like Penn who is solid with experience. Whit weeks is next up.

Corner and safety are the only question marks. They Def did enough at corner to feel good. I'm high on chestnut and Alexander as the starters.

Harris can be elite in due time. Maybe even this year. If Welch is your 4th corner you can't ask for much more.

Love Greg brooks as the leader of the secondary. Burns has played good ball when healthy. I can't wait to see where they line them up.

I know Andre sam will get plenty snaps and probably start I just don't know if I like him as that deep safety.
I don't like brooks as a deep safety either. I want him and Sam around the action.

Will be interesting to see if they like chestnut at nickel and Sage backs him up. So many different options. Toviano will be getting snaps early too. Reminds me of a tre white mindset.

Iam drunk off the kool-aid and here's why. The way we ended the season. I know it was against a depleted Purdue team but they looked crisp. And now the way they are practicing with the same level is very exciting. The system is in and everybody knows what is expected.

Love him or hate him, saben ran very organized practices when here. Players said the games were easy because they were well prepared. I am seeing the same pattern with Brian Kelly. There is a reason why he's won every place he has been at.

Iam not going to say we win a natty. But he is diffently building a great foundation at LSU.

Natty or bust

This is all possible because of the transfer portal rules, this would be a huge rebuild elsewise.

It's some really good kool-aid this year. I'm drinking bunches.

We have two QBs capable of winning the natty. Nothing is gonna derail this train.

Les broke all of my cups. I quit drinking it back around 2014.

Are we going to throw the ball this year, or tuck and run every down? That will determine how in I become.

Always in on the P&G kool-aid.

Last year had a lot of cautious optimism for me. This season is much more optimism and it’s less cautious. This team is bringing back so much production and an intact coaching staff. BK is killing it in the portal and on the recruiting trail.

BK was a homerun hire.

If not this year, 2024 is definitely looking solid.

BK has already gotten this team good "early".

Yes. I am a devoted fan but do not have season tickets. Drank enough Kool-aid to buy two overpriced tickets to the season opener. What can I say? Pretty helpless to resist when it comes to LSU football!
