They have a puncher's chance, for sure. They gave us a tussle when we went out there. The humidity will jump on them like an angry soaking wet wool blanket, though.

A program that used to have a proud tradition, under Don James, but in the last 10 or so years, have slipped a bit.

Tiger fans should recall fondly the same year LSU went to Seattle and won the opener, Washington later beat USC with a late field goal, helping LSU climb up the national rankings, so we can't totally despise the Huskies.

Andy Russo (La Tech) was their hoops coach at one time.

Sarkisian - coach
Colors - purple and gold
Mascot - Husky (nice looking dogs)
Northwest - rainy and drink a shite ton of coffee
PAC12 - recruit a lot of pacific islander players
I assume they have no defense because of the conference they are in, but to be honest,I dont know.

Their rainfall is actually comparable to ours, it just rains more often and in smaller amounts there. Ours comes less frequently, and in downpours.

It's almost double there than it is in Seattle. Seattle is 38 inches a year, Baton Rouge is 63 inches and New Orleans is 64 inches.

My sister live on Whidbey Island. It's practically a desert there, relatively speaking. They hardly get any precip at all.

7 to 8 win team with luck. Good QB with decent skill players. Not a lot of depth. Good coaching staff that has yet to develop a team with depth, speed, skill positions and defense. Would be Vandy if they were in the SEC.

I wonder if we'll have a safety on their TE or a lb?

They won a national title within the last 25 years.

The '91 Huskies outscored opponents 461-101.

`I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DEFENSE QUITE THAT GOOD' - BO SCHEMBECHLER

This is not that team.

UW will get manhandled.

They will score 7 points.

There is a Starbucks at every entrance to the stadium.

They have prompt, clean public transportation from the stadium back to the city.

The bars close to campus don't know the meaning of "buy enough beer for the LSU fans".

TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins is a man. He and WR Kasen Williams will be a nice challenge for our secondary.

The game with them in the 80's was a game that was expected to be close and LSU dominated. I remember walking out of the stadium and the people on the ramps were chanting LSU, LSU and the ramps were shaking. It was the first real confirmation that year that we had a top 10 team as Washington was well thought of then.

And then our hopes were dashed as the rest of the season was rather dismal.

The next year was the big turnaround with Hilliard and James and things have been pretty good overall since.

This is a solid Washington team that I have picked to finish 2nd in the Pac 12 North. Steve Sarkesian is an expert motivator and a great offensive coach, and they have a QB that can play with anyone in the country.

Their QB, Keith Price, not only had to fill the giant shoes left by first round draft pick Jake Locker, but he then set Washington records for passing touchdowns (33), completion percentage (66.9), and QB rating (161.9).

However, their o-line is banged up, so look for our d-line to maul their running game and put massive pressure on their passing game.

Also, Washington's run defense (and defense in general) is suspect at best after giving up nearly 200 yards rushing to SD State and miles of yards to RG3 in the Alamo Bowl.

LSU should be able to control the line of scrimage against the Huskies and I predict a 2 score victory by the Tigers.

One time, at band camp, UW stuck a flute in its pussy.

(Actually, I agree with many of your observations. Sarkisian will try to exploit our LB's and young DB's in space. He'll utilize short drops and quick passes to negate our rush. Expect to see many slants and hooks, along with WR screens. Tackling in space will be key.)
