He is 11-5 in the NCAA Tournament. He took Texas Tech to the Elite 8 and within a bucket of a National Championship. Both program firsts. He put together a Texas team that was so good even Rodney Terry got them to the Elite 8. He brought Ole Miss to the Sweet 16 last season for only the second time in program history. They were within a shot of beating Michigan State to advance to the Elite Eight.
You can not like the guy personally. But to say he hasn’t won in his career is foolish. This is his first losing season, ever.
