It would be contracted out to the Saints staff.

Which is normally done months and months in advance.

I'd be fine with some of them just staying under their rocks. It's one thing to be wrong, but some posters were just being absolute dickheads about it.

Forget the money and play the game at a practice facility' somewhere. Just get it played.

Move the game this morning and be done with it

Go play at TCU's stadium in Fort Worth

It's not going to be played in Fort Worth. Dallas is slated to get a good day's worth of rain next week.
I highly doubt they play in Jerry world because it would have to be on Monday. (That's the least likely scenario any team wants because it's a short week to prep for the next game- I know we play a small school but byu has Utah next.. not gonna happen)

Just based off my guess it's either going to be Nola or Provo. I just doubt any outdoor stadium like independence bowl or tiger stadium would get the nod.

If we want the most certainty that the game will be played then the answer is Provo. Would be a cool last minute trip for anyone wanting to go too.

There were going to be 50,000 LSU fans in NRG anyway. I doubt the Dome would be much different.

Can't believe this

Chill out. The game will be played at NRG and my LSU Tigahs gonna roar! You think a little rain and flooding going keep them webbed feet Cajuns from their appointed destiny? No way Hosea.

I have no idea what the actual numbers would be, but considering Houston is the largest alumni base for LSU outside of LA, that place would feel like a home game for LSU IMO.

Houston probably has more LSU graduates than New Orleans. I very much doubt BYU anticipated a neutral stadium after doing 10 minutes of research.

I love your passion and appreciate the enthusiasm, but considering they're saying that they actually underestimated the forecast at 30+" of rain, I think we've gotten to the point that Houston isn't gonna happen.

As someone who was optimistic until last night, there's not a chance in hell the game is played in Houston.

Sucks too, because I would love for all of the alums in Houston to get the chance to see LSU play in NRG.

Staffing would be in place. It would be contracted out to the Saints staff.
Saints don't run the dome. SMG runs the Dome, SKC & Champions Square complex. They could def pull it off though. But the trigger would have to be pulled very soon so plans can start to be made. Saints play Thursday night so lots of work to do on Friday to get the building ready for play 2 days later.

The Saints playing on Thursday is probably a good thing for keeping the staff in place and having food/drinks stocked.

Restocking and cleaning the building are the 2 issues with this short of a turn around. The good thing is that I doubt there will be many people at the game. 40k or less.
