- Get to put another Texas team in their place
- LF7 will firmly establish himself as the Heisman front runner for next season
- Win puts LSU in Top 15 to finish the season

A Prime Time game on a Tuesday before New Years means absolutely nothing. This is a horrible bowl and matchup.

it should be a fun game. the thing about bowl matchups is that in a season such as this it's important to play a team not as good as you. let the players play and have a good time.

There are no positives. We have top facilities and some of the highest paid coaches in football and we are once again playing in a meaningless bowl. To hell with nice guy Miles. He is only nice to his wallet.
