He either needs to try another position or transfer to a small school somewhere to play QB

Does anyone know if he is graduating so he can transfer freely without sitting out?

Why should have he believed the job was his when he wasn’t even the backup this year?

He should have stuck with Harvard. He probably would have played there and ended up with a Harvard degree.

Does the fact that Mizzou went out and got Kelly Bryant tell you anything about how they felt about the QB position.

Somebody gave this kid some bad advice or fed him a lot of BS about his “football abilities”.

I almost feel bad for him.

Kelly Bryant has little to do with him not getting the job. He wasn’t even listed on their depth chart at QB for most of the year I think.

I doubt serious that he would have held onto the job even if he won't the starting nod.

I agree, but I don't see many teams telling a former QB with his experience to look somewhere else.

I feel extremely bad for him. Hope he can get it on track on his own, and have no reason to think he can't, but he pissed away a near certain chance at a pretty cush life.

This post is a great example of why some are weary of all the excessive claims about Lindsey Scott:
You can google the Missouri 18-19 depth chart (last revised 11/20/18). Listed are three QB's: Lock, Powell and Wilson. Scott isn't even listed.
I am sure he is a really good young man and was an excellent HS QB. But, he is not 6' 1", he never was accepted at Harvard (according to everything I could determine) and he wasn't about to inherit the starting QB position at MIzzou.
I wish him the best.

He's at an SEC school on a full scholarship. Why are we supposed to feel sorry for him?

He was never going to play in the NFL, so this is about the best set of circumstances for him.

If he is set to graduate early, perhaps he could transfer to a high academic small school for his senior year and get a year of grad school paid for.

Otherwise, I think he has ridden this football thing pretty well.

He probably read this board to much.
