Sometimes I wonder if these guys draw straws to be the idiot who says the stupid thing to garner ratings.

72 is absolutely a difference maker.

90 and 18 are right behind him and

Thought he was smarter than that

In the sense he's talking we don't but Shelvin is a difference maker. Just a different kind. Our front as a whole don't have to be difference makers. The just need to do their job which the have since OM. Penetrate and occupy. Let the back end clean up the tackles like they do.

I think part of it is the media knows more than likely LSU is going to win decisively, so they have to build up hype and the only way to do that is to prop Clemson up. Clemson’s a good ball club. They had no business winning that game vs Ohio State. Everyone saw how that game played out. They’d lose 7 out of 10 times. It’s cheap to say “they lucked up”, but they did. They know what’s coming. So does Dabo. “I guess we’re playing LSU.” Dude knows what they’re up against. They may make it interesting for 3 quarters, but I think we pull away in the 4th and win 49-27.

We scored 63. We could play db's on the DL and still win

Pollack gets the short straw a lot if that's the case.

I do not buy into all the BS about who does and who does not like LSU as LSU receives an incredible amount of press. However no question Pollack is anti-LSU from a jealous UGA perspective. All good.

No way! David Pollack said that? Well, guess we ought to call Coach O and tell him to pack it up.

Didn’t Pollock pick OU?

I rest my case...

I’m glad he said it, hope O plays it every day. Dline has been our weakness most of the year, and getting a rush with down lineman. Shelvin has been steady taking double teams, Lawrence and Chaisson have stepped it up as they’ve become healthier, but it is one of our weaker position groups on a great team. If they play lights out, it changes the game really big in our favor

Dude is by far their worst “main” analyst. I have no doubt he sucked his way to the top. His time in Coates was not wasted.

Sure looked like we had difference makers up front when we kicked the shite out of his Georgia Bulldogs, that’s for sure.

Pollack said Utah passes his eye test back when they were number 4. His eyes suck.

Well, we kind of thought the same thing did we not?

We, and he, are half wrong IMHO.

Shelvin is a difference maker. He's not going to be flying in making stip-sack-scoop-scores like Honey Badger. But he damn sure makes a difference. He changes how the opponents OL sets up scheme and I can tell you right now that makes all the difference in the world.

Chaisson is. Hands down. So is Divinity. Both were maligned on this board. We were wrong there.

Our DTs are not difference makers. No Reggie Whites or Chase Youngs there. But the are not a negative or a detriment. They do their job pretty consistently. Other players aren't having to make up for their failures that's for sure.
