If we could swap our secondary for a top 30 secondary we would win the natty.

Considering that LSU has the 10th scoring offense in that nation even with some inconsistent play, the secondary seems to be a much bigger issue (and our defensive scheme at times).

Secondary is the problem not the Red zone unless you mean the Secondary letting the Other Team keep entering the Red Zone.

You can’t be serious. The secondary will hurt us the most. It is atrocious. You could go out to the intramural fields around campus and find guys playing flag football who are better. Pitiful that a program like LSU has allowed the secondary to become such an absolute liability.

Not stoked at not being able to pound it in from the 3, but tend to agree that our secondary is mor suspect

Our RZ offense

21 redzone trips, 19 scores, 15 TDs (5 passing, 10 rushing), 5 FG

I'll take that all day and on Sunday.

we’re 32nd in the country in redzone offense

that’s both total conversions and TD conversions.

we’re really not that bad.

It really depends on the opponent. For instance against Bama the DBs might do well against a very inexperienced QB. The offense could very well struggle against that defense in the red zone in particular.

Everybody keeps saying the secondary sucks but if the Pass rush doesnt stop letting the QB get outside containment we will keep getting gashed. Most of the big plays this year have been as result of this.

But I agree secondary got to get better.
