This is what is wrong with you rantards. Yall are only worried about 2015 and beyond. Les wants to win games THIS season and Jennings gives LSU the best chance to do that.

I think he might as well
if you're going to get similar production from both of them you might as well go with the guy who has the higher ceiling and who you're pretty obviously grooming to be your qb.
it's a fine line though because you don't want to throw him out there to sink or swim and have him deteriorate and end up ruined like j lee.

If you really care you should actually google "create a poll" and link it.

How does Jennings give us the best chance to win exactly? We seem to win in spite of our qb play not because of it. If Jennings gets a mulligan for New Mexico st. and Miss St., than harris certainly deserves another shot.

Les will be doing the team and the players a disservice if Harris rides the pine the rest of the year. He is way more talented, but doesn't fit what Les wants. I'm concerned that if he doesn't get a chance to play, he'll transfer to Auburn and that will come back to haunt us.

I'm completely ok with Jennings starting at the moment. Even last night I thought it was ok that we didn't throw Harris into the fire. Going forward.... he has to get snaps, experience is the only thing holding him back from Jennings. You only get better with experience, if Les is smart he will play Harris against Kentucky. If we don't see Harris the next few games. I really see this at the JJ part II. I will support both quarterbacks, I don't have favorite. Les just irritates me on how he handles that position. The coaches need to put the quarterbacks in way better positions. It is hard to have success, they really did frick over Harris against Auburn. Couldn't get him into the flow of the game, showed zero confidence in him, and made him throw on obvious throwing downs in one the most hostile environments in college football.

+1
Not one poster here has been at practice and seen how Harris is making the calls, the blitz pick-ups and reading the Def. Not one. Harris will get another shot.

How did BH look all week at practice? Day.

I say this as a person who supported Jennings before the season, but the truth is Harris needs to be given the reins.
I agree. Jennings will improve and be a great backup, but Harris will have 3 straight games at home, so I don't think the nerves will be there as much as his first start at Auburn.

I would like to see Harris play more we're not going to be serious contenders this year and he needs the experience

This.
At some point, it'll be Harris again this season.

"How about this scenario...just maybe? Jennings starts this week, and we give Harris a series or two each half???? Then going forward, after he has fully grasped the extensive playbook, and has gotten more comfortable....LSU may be able to go with the hot hand? "
Yeah, Harris needs to learn that extensive play book we saw last night.

Even though Harris had a miserable night against Auburn, I still think he is the better QB.
Harris clearly has some growing up to do, but I think he should be getting plenty of playing time right now.

It was sarcasm man......and that is what makes it even worse...it wasn't that much to learn and he hasn't been able to do so. I'm going to try and not bash Jennings on here, but let's just say I haven't seen anything YET to make me think he isn't the second coming of JJ....and I still cringe at the thought of that smirk on JJ's face after he fricked up.....but still...
You can't ignore BH's performance at Auburn. You guys say the coaches put him in bad position. Hell, they made it as simple as possible. He still didn't know which way to turn, fumbled the ball, couldn't hit wide open rec's only 10 yards away (multiple times). There was absolutely nothing he did in the game that made you even remotely think he was ready for that stage yet. Florida would have been no different...hell, it was loud last night...just imagine if BH had been in there trying to change plays at the last second.
The time will come for BH, and sooner rather than later. I truly believe that. He will get playing time in the next 3 games. But, right now, Jennings gives LSU the best chance to win, as bad as that sounds. BH will gain some experience starting next week...then, we can take a look.

lies.
LSU got lucky that Florida outderped LSU saturday.
I would like to know what advantage Jennings gives the offense that anyone disagrees with the OP.
is it Jennings' veteran leadership? (no)
is it his ability to sustain drives on 3rd down? (no)
is it his pinpoint accuracy? (most certainly not)

I will keep bumping this all morning until I get an answer.
I hope that Harris' ankle injury is the only thing that kept him out of this game.
