The players don't owe the fans. The players owe Coach Miles and LSU.

In the NFL, fans pay players salaries. In college they don't. No player at LSU owes joe six pack fan a damn thing.

Maybe not to the fans, but they definetly owe respect to each other and the college that gave them the opportunity to play the game they love.

Nah. I think they have an obligation to the coaches, their teammates, and the University as an institution, but not to the University's fans or supporters.

Some of both.
Players definitely did wrong but they don't deserve to be crucified for it.
Only thing the fans should expect/hope for from the players is that they play hard and try to represent the university positively.

An institution is not only made up of bricks and mortar, but the people who have attended and financially supported those bricks and mortar.
Does that change your opinion?
I mean considering you have never attended LSU.
