i was just trying to clarify
i don't get why people keep saying "we have to wait until the facts come out" b/c miles has all relevant facts, for all intents and purposes

Has it been lost in this thread that the players are still going to talk to police on tuesday, just not on monday?

A) LSU will not put up with this kind of behavior.
B) HE will not put up with this kind of behavior.
It's a PR battle at this point.
Whether the players were provoked or not, 10-15 LSU FB players cannot gets themselves in a situation like they found themselves in.
So, yes, he will have to dish out some suspensions soon.
What I have been trying to say all along!!!!
RUMMY!!!!!!!

Player has a car wreck and a booster pays the repairs to fix the other person's car.
that is not comparable
this is paying a victim, who then refuses to cooperate, which leads the police to drop the charges
there's a middle link there

How can so many posters talk about "Character, Respect, Players just walking away, etc.", yet these same posters can't handle a message board conversation?
Hell, if these angry posters were at Shady's, I'm sure they would have been involved in multiple fights with a few drinks in them, if you can't handle someone disagreeing or questioning you on a message board.
The hypocrisy for "Doing the right thing" is amazing.
Having no idea of the climate the players were in, but judging how they should have handled it and how they should be disciplined without knowing anything that took place is very interesting.
But please carry on...it's a slow afternoon.

50 players? When are people going to start calling for Miles' head? This kind of activity has been a pattern under him as he can't control his teams. 50 players? Give me a break.
Not sure if serious.

I didn't say JJ would be picked up today. Just that a player heard that last night. But save it.

I think this pretty much explains how many people feel. But if you say players should be suspended then it means you just hate JJ and want him kicked off the team immediately just for breaking curfew.

Rummy's being a little too nice here. Allow me. Nobody minds that you are voicing your opinion, it just that your opinion fricking sucks. Not just that it's wrong--which it is--but it's mind-numbingly fricking stupid. I would ask if you were fricking retarded, but that would be an injustice to retarded folks everywhere. But what I know--what is completely and utterly obvious--is that you are plain fricking stupid.

All the NCAA has to do is find a connection to it benefiting the player. PERIOD.
That doesn't mean it will pass their smell test as a violation, but in reality it is a blatant one based on the spirit of the rules.

Probably not. Most would not be this vocal most likely.

Agreed. The notorious Miles and JJ haters are showing their arse and it is comical to see.

I dgaf about the 4 "victims" or the players involved. If they didn't play football for LSU most of us wouldn't even know who they are or anything about a fight in the parkinglot of a college bar on a thirsty thursday night.
All I care about concerning this whole thing is LSU football. If they win and keep winning its even better. You could tell me Les Miles clubbed some baby seals, skinned them, and sold the hides to pay off lawyers, judges, or even the Taliban. IDGAF!!!
