From OTB this morning
Good news on Doughty:
- no structural damage but still sore and range of motion limited
- won’t play this weekend. Plan is to have him ready by next weekend
Bad news on Beck:
- was very vague on his injury
- said he’s going to be dealing with it a while and hopes he can come back down the road
- again no specifics here

The notes above sound like a Brennan-type explanation from last season.

The original prognosis was elbow soreness. He could have stretched the UCL or partially tore it. That’s speculative though.

Bad news on Beck:
Then it makes even less sense to use yesterday to only throw a bunch of pitchers we have a decent idea about already.

PM said he’s still trying to figure out everyone’s roles.

Still have 9 games until SEC play to figure things out. Right now I think the only roles that are set going into sec play is that Money is your fireman and Fontenot is your closer. Everything else is still up for grabs.

I think Money may end up filling Beck's role.

Neither of these are set. Before Money's last appearance I'd have thought Javan Coleman was the fireman. Now, I'm leaning toward Money. Next week...?
Fontenot has been shaky. Maybe he gets in a groove, maybe not.

not worried at all about Fontenot. he is the closer!
