PM: "Obviously I didn’t have them ready to play, so that’s just the way it goes sometimes"

“There’s not much to say after a game like that,” Mainieri said. “Obviously I didn’t have them ready to play, so that’s just the way it goes sometimes. We’re a better team than what we showed tonight.”
No shite Paul. Talk is cheap. Time for a gut check to make some changes before things get worse.

It's early, man.
That's baseball.
That's baseball.

The frick did you want him to say? He took the blame
Posted on 3/26/19 at 11:02 pm to Jack Crevalle
So he took responsibility for the loss and people still complain about his post game comments
What should he have said?

What should he have said?

This team sucks. Bunch of punch and judy hitters that weigh less than a buck fifty with a bunch of players as coaches. Real talk

People just looking to vent

sounds like you know a lot about our roster this year. Garza, Beloso, Cabrera, Mathis... if it's one thing about those guys it's that they're small

This is a talented bunch. I believe they will mesh and end up right where we want them: Omaha.

I'd much rather him say that than call out players.
I don't like the way the team has played, but I have no issue with that comment.

I’ve been off the PM bandwagon for a few years now. That first trip to TD Ameritrade completely mindfricked him like Lee did to Les in 2008. Ever since then he has recruited the 5’9 180lb kids that are outstanding defensively and just ok hitters. He’s has some here and there come through that were really good college hitters but he’s over the top paranoid and plays station to station baseball at all times.

I didn't realize you were interviewed by reporters within minutes of your frick ups at work.

C'est La Vie! C'est La Vie! That's just the way it goes!

Yeah its baseball, but this team isn't where it should be halfway through this season.
I saw them play last weekend at UGA and they seemed pretty flat until the late inning rally. This team is just missing that fire that teams in the past have had which helped in the late season runs

Cabrera .325 12 extra base hits 16 strikeouts
Garza .256
Beloso .250
Mathis .182
Punch and Judy's:
Hughes .203
Broussard .190
Weaksauce and the fat ones have been weak as frick

I've watched every game. Those 3/4 of that group have been atrocious at the plate. Everyone else is a twerp that can't hit. Sure Dup and Watson can hit but if they both are off we are completely fricked.
