I hate on him because of his attitude, I’ll be here all season

First one was tough, but he's a future NFL WR1 and should make that grab 90% of the time.

Most importantly, he did the hard part on that catch by adjusting to the ball and getting your arms around the CB who is playing you rather than the ball. He fumbled the easy part which is actually catching the ball that hits you in the hands at roughly chest level.

It's definitely a rep where nobody would complain if basically anybody else didn't catch it, eg if Trey Palmer was still here and he was the intended receiver we'd probably chalk it up to a bad decision by Daniels because he wouldn't have looked open, but it's also one he really should have caught.

He had a bad game.

He probably got into his own head early and got the “I don’t think I can do anything right” voice in his head. I’m sure he is going to bounce back, refocus, and have a great season. Could his attitude and body language have been better? Probably. But I’d imagine it feels pretty shitty to let your team down, and getting the negative bug between your ears is infectious.
Hopefully he plays next week like this week never happened

That's deadly for a football player, skill position or not. You can't help yourself to both simultaneously think the coaches failed you and you can't fix it.

I'm still believing he was mad at himself and was NOT being a diva. And he let it affect his effort; got the better of him. While still not supposed to happen, that's a very different thing than being mad at everyone else because he's not the alpha dog.

That would be the goal as stated by the coaches. His teammates and himself will probably approach it from the standpoint of "never forget, don't do it again".

I've always thought of WRs and DBs as aliens. An OL or DL screws up and they harp and harp on you. Wire will hear about his penalty over and over. And from coaches that have nothing to do with OL, like Hankton. They won't let him forget. But no... a DB gives up a TD or Boutte has a bad game and everybody tells them to shake it off and no one wants to remind them.

But, people don't think it be that way. But it is.
