The problem with thinking that we could make the playoffs is that it just blatantly ignores what this team is. You’d have to willingly believe that our offensive struggles are just an aberration.

There are 8 other SEC teams with better odds of making the playoffs. We’ll be watching from home.

It still looks like the SEC could get 5 teams into the playoffs. The problem for LSU is that they are currently tied for 9th in the conference with Tenn & FL at 2-2. At this point, it's unlikely a 3-loss team will finish in the Top 5 of the SEC.

I'm pretty sure this is my last college football season. Comments like above show how it's changed, and in my opinion, not for the better.
Winning the SEC used to be the standard, from there the national championship was always in reach. Now, no one cares about winning the SEC, they just want to 'make' the playoffs - even if only to just lose and go home.
