What kind of batshit crazy athletic department would hold a major sporting event while the university is closed and the city's roads are unsafe to drive on?

This would be completely unprecedented!

Oh wait, nevermind... LSU DID THIS 2 frickING YEARS AGO.

LSU vs UK basketball in 2014. University was closed, roads were iced over. People were urged to stay inside and off the roads... PLAYED THE GAME ANYWAY.

Are you comparing frozen roads to a category 4 hurricane?

Basketball vs Football
"Ice" storm vs Hurricane
No evacuation vs Evacuation

Other than that, good post.

Natural disasters and a little bit of snow/ice are two completely different animals.

The Ice Dome was crazy that night.

LSU wanted to move that game back a day but SEC and ESPN said no, iirc.

Campus was closed on the day of the Monday night game vs Tennessee in 2005.

People on this board are going to be mad at me for posting this.

Yeah, but it was essentially closed because of the game.

If I remember right campus wasn't closed they just canceled classes because of tailgating. Because we had class as usual on Friday even though the other schools around us closed.
