i recall people booing and calling for josh booty's head in favor of rohan davie .. was that racially motivated too ?
They must not have been at the 2000 Peach Bowl. The LSU crowd ,about 20k were going nuts for Davey over local boy Booty. If I recall young Davey is a man of color.

should Miles have recruited Mett??
I was saying something similar when Mett ran onto the field and the same people who booed JJ cheered as loudly as they could for Mett. I was telling them, "um, he was kicked off a team for sexual assault". Let's cheer him but boo the guy who got into a bar fight. Makes perfect sense.

those of you hiding behind we were booing the coaches decision. Guess what your not the coach just a classless individual. Great job tigers glad they said something finally, cause its rediculous that so many fans feel like they have some sort of say so in what is going happen

no however we'll have super fans trying to over do it both ways.
JJ comes in you'll think he jsut won the hiesman.. that'll ignite all the Lee fans so it'll become a pissing in TS to show who's side everyone is on.
Sorta like on here
Jesus Christ LEE, what the frick do you do for a living? You've literally been on here at all hours of the day/night 7 days a week since all this shite went down.

at Georgia ?? no .. not at all .. his decision had nothing to do with the LSU football program ... once again .. i don't see the correlation ..

Was Tim Tebow ever implicated in a group beat down of a guy outside a bar? Was Tim Tebow personally responsible for several team losses? Did Tim Tebow ever do anything but win and afford his team the greatest chance to be successful?
When was Tebow ever anything but a winner AND a good guy and teammate.
I DO NOT think that there is any crossover here. You are trying to compare an apple to an orange.
At LSU, we need a qb who can manage the game. All he has to do is make a limited number of plays over the season. What he really has to do is run the offense effectively and not turn the ball over. EVERY running back we have is going to the NFL. We have skill all over the place and, this year, a good offensive plan to go with that skill. We even have good blocking. The last thing that LSU needs is a wild-card at qb. We don't need a guy that might run off for a score, but also is liable to turn the ball over, forget the snap count, not know who his check down receiver is, or forget about the playclock. We need a level-headed player who can consistently get the ball to our play-makers without giving it away to the other team. THAT IS ALL THAT WE HAVE TO HAVE. That's all that they have to do to win.
In lieu of JJ's prior performances, I think that we all understand what he is. True, he is a stellar athlete. But he is going to make mistakes that we can't recover from. He will prevent the consistency that it's going to take to win the whole thing.

I love a lot of things about this site, but it has just become unbearable for a lot of fans lately - whether or not we are JJ/JL fans. If the admins policed and banned a whole bunch of these idiots who seem to be posting without much thought then I would appreciate that.
This is the only fan site unfortunately where things keep getting from bad to worse.

As an LSU Fighting Tiger fan, we need to pull together and support our TEAM, whomever plays. Period!!!!!

Mett got in trouble with the law. And admitted being guilty. LSU fans cheered when he saw the field.
JJ got in trouble with the law. LSU fans boo him when he gets on the field.
Bottom line, booing does nothing but hurt the program. At the very least, recruits do not like it. I sure hope Landon Collins was not at the game Saturday.
