It’s funny how real Marine Corps infantrymen with three tours aren’t usually bothered by what decisions college kids make, and usually don’t find it necessary to blow there own horn.

Their Service speaks for itself.

Some of you were the same people praising a lot of those players for going after the money and doing what they thought was best for themselves and their families. Well guess what. You can’t have it both ways.

On the Opt Outs... not me.

Guys that entered the draft. It is my personal opinion that a sure first rounder is probably not going to do much better but beyond that they can do better with another year and can do better moneywise by going higher in the draft

I get that, but it doesn’t seem to be as big of a problem at other premier programs.

You want to make a bet? I was a Marine Corps Infantryman that served three combat deployments to Afghanistan. You seriously believe I wouldn't call a football player a pussy to their face for being afraid of a disease that kills less than 0.1% of the people it infects? Get real, pussy.

You're a liar

Lmao bro what’s up with all this “WE” shyt, not one player that opted out knows you. You did nothing for that player besides clap when they made a good play or cursed when they made a bad play. You didn’t build a damn at LSU.

Careful. Your stupidity is showing. You don’t know me. Don’t assume things about which you have no knowledge or understanding.

their getting their millions either way. That doesn't change the fact that they let the team and fans down

That's not why they're opting out though, it's just an excuse

They didnt opt out bc they are scared of covid.. they saw an opportunity to opt out and still get drafted without risking injury. If they get drafted or not is on them.

this is 100% correct, and if you think it'll go away after covid you're sorely mistaken. college football had become purely transactional. the only reason to play is to get to the nfl. college degrees and the experience of playing college ball mean nothing. if you have already secured yourself as a high draft pick then why keep playing? you're going to see this more and more. a kid has a great freshman or sophomore season, they "opt out" and spend the next season or two training for the draft. it'll trickle down to high school too. i think eventually you'll see committed juniors that will skip their senior seasons. why not?

College athletes don’t owe fans or the school a god damn thing.

The only thing different for projected top ten picks this year is a built in COVID excuse, thats it. If Ruggs, Jeudy or Lamb quit a month before the season in 2019 to focus on the draft it would have been viewed much differently.

Maybe people should make the best the decision for their own families, you know like you did, when you switched jobs...

Because Agents aren’t going to pay you for 4 years after your Jr year of high school to train and NFL teams aren’t going to pay someone who say out 2-4 years of football

Yeah! Socalled fans verbally abuse young athletes after every mistake, then when the young guy makes a decision, in their best interest, its Waaaa, Waaaa.
We are trying to bring in recruits, we hit a bump in the road, and the fans start beating up on the players.

These guys signed up to be part of the Team. The Team counted on those guys being here, as did the other players and coaches. Maybe those teams who don’t have our attrition rate also don’t have a dumbass bunch of fans who applaud the kids who leave early and make them feel good about the decision to put themselves first and screw over their teammates and their school.

I smell a rat, maybe Clark or another ex-NFL crony is whispering in these kids ear. This is not Covid related, its all about, money, money, money, mooooney. This will end up like the basketball fiasco, one and out.

Has it ever occurred to you that this board is not a monolith, and consist of many different opinions from many different people?
