I’ve seen a lot of comments lamenting the impact on our Team of draft eligible players leaving early and younger players opting out to prepare for the draft. Some of you were the same people praising a lot of those players for going after the money and doing what they thought was best for themselves and their families. Well guess what. You can’t have it both ways. These guys signed up to be part of the Team. The Team counted on those guys being here, as did the other players and coaches. Maybe those teams who don’t have our attrition rate also don’t have a dumbass bunch of fans who applaud the kids who leave early and make them feel good about the decision to put themselves first and screw over their teammates and their school.

None of them have our 2019 NC trophy or 14 NFL draft picks either.

Rosters can sometimes peak. A LOT of our players all peaked at exactly the right time.

That resulted in. 15-0 NC season. It was incredibly. Arguably the best everZ

Combine that with the few who did return having to deal with Covid BS and we had a rough go.

I’ll always gladly take the consequences of winning a NC in spectacular fashion.

You wouldn’t say it to any of their faces.

So you’re a pussy.

You want to make a bet? I was a Marine Corps Infantryman that served three combat deployments to Afghanistan. You seriously believe I wouldn't call a football player a pussy to their face for being afraid of a disease that kills less than 0.1% of the people it infects? Get real, pussy.

Kary Vincent Jr. Is the biggest let down for me. He was needed for this season.

They didnt opt out bc they are scared of covid.. they saw an opportunity to opt out and still get drafted without risking injury. If they get drafted or not is on them.

Tho I wanted him to return, Chase was the one guy I could understand. He wasn't improving his draft stock by playing this year. Can't be too mad, he helped bring da hardware home. Only good thing about 2020.

We can be mad about any guy we build a team around who leaves early/opts out. We all (players, coaches, fans), need to be about creating a program that emphasizes “team” over “individual”. This bullshite “next man up” is one of those feel good mantras that is so much form over substance.

Don't disagree with your argument, would love to see it. But when there's millions on the table, the view is different.
