luckiest coach in the history of CFB - both to walk into what saban left

Miles inherited a good roster. But saban's last year, that team lost 3 games and was extremely lucky to win the Oregon State game. So let's not act like they were world beaters. Also, when saban left, he only had around 15 recruits lined up for Miles first year. So saban really screwed the pooch on that and then left it for Miles to deal with.

then to get his 2 loss NC...

Yes, Miles and LSU were lucky to get into the NC game that year. But at least LSU won their division and their conference that year. Your hero saban, won one of his National Championships without even winning the division. So who sounds like the lucky one?

and then to get TM7 & co...

That sounds like excellent player evaluation and recruiting, not luck. I would be willing to bet that if it was any other coach that pulled in those players, you wouldn't be calling it luck.

It's obvious that you didn't like Miles while he was at LSU. He's gone now, you don't need to continue shitting on his accomplishments.

Fans in there right mind have always supported the players.

Then many don't have their mind right. Majority of our fans desert them at home every chance they get cause it's too hot, or cold, or windy,or cloudy, or just too damn nice out to support them for 4 qtrs.

Big Ten Yankee who could recruit but not coach

LOL - You make this sound like it is a a stereotype. Les was just some dumabass from Ohio, right?......like Urban Meyer, Bob Stoops, Jim Tressell, Don James, Ara Parseghian, Lou Holtz, Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Paul Brown, Chuck Noll, Don Shula...

Say want you want about Miles coaching ability, but to suggest that any lack of success is due to being a Yankee is flat out ignorant. If you could pick one state in this country to select a football coach from, it would be Ohio. Hell, Paul Dietzel, Bo Rein, Bill Arnsparger and Nick Saban all have strong college football ties to Ohio. Cholly Mac, Stovall and Curley Hallman were good ole boys. Good luck with Orgeron.

Kum by Ya? Seriously ... He's paid to win football games, period.

We've declined and been decling as a program.
Nobody really cares about the chances and favors he gave to his players.
We care about winning football games.

Do you not realize these are teenagers losing a father figure. How about you give them a day to feel it. Most of them are simply expressing sadness not lambasting the decision. Have a freakin heart!
