I know this has to be tough on all the players.

Anyone who has ever played sports, even at a much lower level like high school, gets attached emotionally to their coaches. I still remember all of mine from many years ago.

These guys spend much more time with each other and get to know each other personally. They seem to be handling the situation as well as can be expected.

My heart hurts for my coach today. There's nobody in this world that I respect more. You've been a 2nd father to me. I love you coach.

Hester doesnt seem in touch with reality...great player but weird he refuses to at least admit Les lost his touch. That said, I don't think he really ever had it...luckiest coach in the history of CFB - both to walk into what Saban left him and then to get his 2 loss NC...and then to get TM7 & co...and then to bluff that Arky was interested when there was no way in hell they would ever hire him...

12 years and $30-50M when he never should have been hired in the first place...respect Les...much respect. Glad you're gone.

IMO, guys like this should have the option to have their scholarship released if they want to. If Miles was the only reason and he isn't cool with O, he should be free to go if he wants.

@LSUCoachMiles final speech as my head coach for the rest of my life

I would love to have heard that.

I am sure Les was emotional but at the end of the day his life will be much easier and he will have a big pile of money. It may take a while for him to find something to fill his time.

I can't see how anyone at his stage in life having the wealth he has accumulated wanting to endure the hell he would have caught the rest of the reason from the press and the fans.

Colby Delahoussaye ?@ColbyDely - Here's to the man that gave me a chance. This man was more than a coach to me, and I am honored to have been able to call him my coach.

Because they can't is exactly why kids need to commit to a school, not a coach. Kids like him and Guice should have felt the temp in the room before they signed and if they didn't, thats on them

So, are you and the other members of the cult going to commit mass suicide tonight? Maybe go out like the Branch Davidians?

It would seem you're the one out of touch with reality. Les needed to go, but you can't ignore the Championship and other big wins he had while here.

Yeah, their play on the field

Their is a difference between respecting someone as a man and respecting someone as a coach. Looks like les lost the team on the field to me

I have no doubt they loved and respected les the man not so sure about les the coach

We all respect les the man, it's les the coach we don't respect anymore

The deleted tweet from Guice is the only one that concerns me.

ipodking- you are outside your mind. Les brings in Craig as a receivers coach, and I doubt he can catch a cold. The receivers reliability performance is at its lowest in years. A HC is to put the team in the best position to succeed and since the NC game in 2012 he has continueosly failed at that. Les let Les down. He was given an opportunity to make changes and he chose to be stubborn and ignore what was expected. DiNardo all over again

Im sure they will miss their coach, but if you play on offense, you have to be excited. Especially if you are a JR or SR

I don't blame the players for being emotional. Any coaching change especially a head coaching change is always tough. Especially if the coach was a players coach like Miles.
