Coming in from San Antonio, Son-in-Law and my Dad will meet me there, staying at the Courtyard Marriott downtown, looks like its near the rail line. Gonna be in town on Thursday, will catch Astros vs Rangers Thursday night. Friday will visit Saint Arnold's brewery and visit a few other eateries and breweries, Friday evening watching UTSA vs Houston football game in their new stadium, son-in-law is a grad from UTSA. Saturday I think we will find a sports bar near the hotel and watch some college football until its time to head to our game via the rail line.

Should be a great weekend, packed with great sports and great food and drink.

What are your plans?

Midtown bar hop bender Friday night, find a good pregame spot(s)downtown during the day Saturday, then head to Reliant for the culmination of the shite show and watch the first of 14 straight wins. I just moved to the Woodlands but I'm going to be crashing at my friend's place off Washington Ave the whole weekend. Can't wait

How do you like the Woodlands so far? I lived there from 1992-2012, amazing to see how far it has come.

Love it. 45 is always a nightmare and will continue to be until the loop is completed but outside of that I couldn't be happier. Went and caught the doobie brothers/journey concert last night at the Pavillion. So much talent on that lawn So much talent in this township period

They were good but the Doobs surprisingly rocked way harder last night.

Ahh yes, the Pavilion is great. Saw many great concerts at CWMP, the latest being The Boss last month..3 1/2 hours of non-stop perfection!

I wanted to go to that show so bad but was still in the moving process. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

It's literally on the light rail line. Like you take 10 steps and you're at the station.

Good stuff. For $8 you get the tour and 4 tokens, which are good for a beer a piece (except the IPA costs 2). The glass they give you is a little small but you can pay $10 for a St. Arnold's souvenir pint glass and they'll let you fill that up for a token a piece as well. Good investment considering the extra beer you get and the nice pint glass you can take home. Good beers there too.

Definitely the best option, but it will be hell leaving the game on that thing. After rodeo it was a mess.

Enjoy.

A lot more people for the rodeo bro

It will probably be 75% purple and gold in the stands. Wisky won't travel well for this game IMO
