Meh.... I gotta give it to him, he's got a point. The man is just trying to get his team some deserved recognition. This might be one of their only chances to have gameday and they've earned it. Give it to the Gopher.

Yea I mean the show is supposed to go to an intriguing matchup. it just so happens to maybe have 2 p5 undefeated games that weekend.
However, I would imagine that if all goes according to script (who knows if it will) that PSU @ OSU will be gameday 2 weeks after LSU/Bama. I think they did PSU/Michigan a few weeks ago, so probably don't think PSU should get 3 gamedays.
That factors into these decisions too

“IF” Minniesoda can beat Penn State and Iowa, then I am all for Gameday being there for their Nov. 30 showdown with Wisconsin.

If only ESPN and College GameDay had invited him to sit at the desk for a long part of the broadcast before the 2011 SEC Championship game to stump for his team rather than Saban. He wasn't really given the platform to do it. I can't be certain, but I think he might have only been given a quick video call segment on one of the shows around that time to plead his case.

That game might not be quite as shiny regardless of if Minnesota manages to stay undefeated until then. After the bye this week, Wisconsin might be on a three-game skid coming out of the weekend of the 9th. (They host Iowa November 9th.)

LSU has been on CGD twice this year. I think Minn would be a good choice, the Bama/LSU CDG is played out.
