If you aren’t saying JJ is the greatest this board calls everyone retarded.

It’s not the staff or asst’s. It’s CJJ. Look back and his numbers are always the same. Good year middle of the pack, average year lower half of conference regardless of the conf. He does not let his pitching coaches call the game either.

JJ makes poor decisions weekly. Thank God he’s an A+ recruiter

You mean the best pitcher in NCAA history made LSU better that year?

Lots of retards on this board.

Letting up 6 runs on a Sunday is not bad. Scoring 2 runs vs Sunday pitching is bad

Calling someone else a retard when you are incapable of taking context from the post you responded to is on point for this board.

He was plainly stating that outside having one of the most dominate pitchers ever CJJ doesn’t appear to understand how to manage pitchers. If that’s the criteria for him being successful or even above average in the conference then that’s a huge problem.

Shores is struggling again. Still not really in shape to pitch after his injury he needs more time

He was pumping 96 at around pitch 100.

His issues arent a question of getting in shape or recovery.

I honestly don’t think today was the worst we have seen from him, and I don’t think he needs to be given up on yet. Texas battled him, he gave up the HR, but honestly it’s not like they were murdering the ball, I don’t think he’s far off.

Moving him into the pen is not giving up on him.

In 2023, Thatcher Hurd started the season as a weekend starter. Struggled and went to the pen. Started, and won the CWS Final. Moving Thstcher to the pen was not giving up on him.

The Texas pitchers don't have SEC experience either.

We need to develop some of these relievers ASAP. Cuz although Evans is definitely capable of replacing Saturday or Sunday as the starter we still need someone to come in and relieve and a hardcore closer. We don’t have that yet. And we don’t have the bats to make up for the inexperienced relief pitching we have right now. Guidry needs to come back asap. I think that makes a huge difference. Maybe shores would make for a better closer

No, it's not. Not yet, but they absolutely can improve.

Deja Vu under johnson. Another year without Skenes another year struggling to get to .500 in the sec and get out of a regional.

4-2 in the SEC ATM? Probably will take the MS series, but let's see.

It blows my mind to see a coach get crapped on so suddenly after winning a Championship.

I'm impressed with how they finished last season given how many new starters they had.
