I'm guessing

Game 2 - Eades
Game 3 - Glenn
Game 4 - the Cune
Game 5 - Bonvillian

I think with that setup, if the bats show up that we can still make a run at this thing. We are lucky to have more dept at pitching than most of the teams in the CWS. We still have a shot at this, even though tonight was a setback.

I think Glenn goes Tuesday... I think UNC is a heavy left handed line up

I think you go with Glenn against UNC since they have more dangerous left-handed bats. We'll see.

Mainieri said Nola would pitch again on Friday if we get there. He didn't say who's throwing Tuesday.

Friday is a long way away. You cannot save any arms and have to throw anyone necessary Tuesday to get there

That works for me then. I guess that opens up the arms a lot more for the next three games.

I imagine if NOLA pitches Friday though that means he won't be available at all for the Championship series, if we somehow make it that far. Although he might be ok for a Game 3.

Saturday starter is probably Bonvillain.

Obviously, none of this matters unless our hitters decide to show up.

you now have to win 'em one at a time... can you really think that far ahead... play 'em and win 'em one at a time... if you lose one you go home

Well, LSU knows who it will pitch within reason. In order to get to the title series, a 4th starter is needed on Saturday. Still gotta plan for success and adjust the plan as you go along when needed.

Yes, Nola could pitch Wednesday if needed. That's 4 days rest.

I'd guess he'd pitch game 2 on Tuesday on 3 days rest if we got that far, unless we won game 1. Then you might want to save him for Wednesday with 4 days rest. Long way to go before then,

Yeah, Nola would pitch any elimination game in the finals series. Best case would be to win game one and rest Nola for a game three as needed. Hope we have this problem.
