Who we got and who they got?

Battle of day 3/BP guys? Seems like both teams have used their top guys and top BP guys? What’s the scouting report on who they are likely to pitch?

Ack, Little, Dutton, and Ulloa tomorrow?

Hurd, Anderson, Coleman, Johnson, Loer the game after?

Everyone getting innings at this point.

Honestly not sure who is on the travel squad. But I think ack, little or Dutton starts. I don’t know how many innings any of them get at this point. Just need to make it through 9

Honestly think we are in great shape tomorrow

Start Dutton for 1 then Ack, Little, Ulloa, Loer, Anderson, Herring (altho id rather not have to go back to Griff yet)

Then if we win we're off til Saturday

USCe has used their top 2 SP and most of their top bullpen arms. There's another post probably still on pg1 that breaks it down

Lol. No. More likely to have a 19-18 4:55 game, like the Gorilla Ball era.

LSU is designated the visitor by coin flip.

Visitor has been working out just fine so far in Hoover

Only Jump and Holman out, right? Herring and Guidry pitched three or less so could be up but probably should wait if possible.

Herring 33 pitches
Guidry 35 pitches

Seriously, I would love to see what he would do. The only issue I have with it is the kid seems to finally figured it out and I would hate to see him take a confidence blow in a start when he has settled into the reliever role.

Two more games are guaranteed. Start Hurd and get him back in 2023 postseason form. He’s needed big time. Obviously this is the last chance to get him primed, and it’s essentially a no-pressure situation at this point.

Agreed, I would love to see Hurd get another shot in one of these next 2 games. But I trust our coaches

Same. But man, with how things are clicking with the bats, if Hurd finds his groove, there’s no doubt this team can run it back and win it all again. People say whoever hosts and draws LSU will be pissed….

I’ll up the ante and say whoever is on LSU’s side of the bracket should be pissed.

I’m putting my money on Hurd starting tomorrow with a very short leash explained to him before he takes the mound. Hopefully he can go 4-6 innings and I know that is a huge stretch right now then bring Little in for 2-3 in mid relief before Herring closes it out

You need to probably save Ack or Hurd for Saturday. So one of those guys will start tomorrow and Little will be the first one up.

I would think Jump, Holman, Herring, and Guidry are done for tomorrow. Maybe if they get to Saturday, Herring and Guidry will be back.

Start Hurd and hope somehow he finds the confidence to throw and place the fastball. If he can get you 4-5 innings, awesome. Get Little in there and have Ulloa be the “closer”.

Still can’t believe LSU is in this position considering where they were two weeks ago. They are performing how everyone thought they would at the start of the season. How amazing it would be to get Loer to come on as well right now?!?!

Yep.

He’s a known quantity, but what the hell? Roll the dice, have him on a short leash, and see what happens. Maybe he’ll recapture his form from late last year.
