They allowed Texas to throw for 400+ yards---we won
They allowed Vandy to match their highest point total of the season --we won
They allowed Kyle Trask of UF to have his second highest passing yardage total of the season---we won
Alabama scored on every drive but one in the second half.--we won
They've been able to make enough plays when they had to---exactly. and we won

Don't listen then, but sports commentators are going to comment what they see. You are lying it's not just one game. UT, Vandy and UF probably had their best output vs LSU. Different teams and schemes. Iowa State and others have held UT to under 24 and they hung 38 on LSU.
Utah State isn't great but decentely offensively, that's the one game LSU looked like a really good D. Maybe AU and GA Southern as well, other games have given reason for concern.

If you feel like LSU is the best team, why do you care what outside people are saying? It will all work itself out on the field anyways. It doesn't matter what these "experts" have to say.
