obviously not everyone agrees with me...Who are you to speak for most of the tiger faithful out there? I sure as shite dont want you to...If you like the band so much go to tigerrama. Quit finding something to bitch about. You go to Tiger Stadium for football. I would be more concerned with the product on the field than what music and in what form the music is in. So if you dont like it, get the frick out of TS because thats the way its going to be whether you like it or not.

First off, most fans just don't care about much of anything. they just don't. Do you honestly think the majority of fans even REALIZE there was a big change in the logo back in 2002? Nope. They just buy shite with LSU on it. A huge portion wouldn't care if LSU changed their uniforms to some Addidas abomination. And, most don;t even notice the piped in music.
But don;t for one second assume that no vocal outrage by 50%+ of the fanbase equals them in favor of it. Most just don't care. Those that DO have strong feelings about it are CLEARLY in favor of this shite ending yesterday. What I have seen in the stadium are fans sanding up and YELLING to stop the music...not standing up clapping along and getting fired up to AC/DC.

No one suggested this stupid forum matters...but you assume that there are no influential players here or who share these feelings.
There are.
All it takes is enough of them, or simply enough fan backlash to it and it stops. One has to assume someone in the AD thought this would be a great idea and tested it out. It's not written in stone, and there is ZERO financial reason to hang on to a bad idea like the stupid logo.
Alleva's job is not to alienate the fanbase.

I dont give a flying frick about how long of a fan you have been of LSU- it doesnt make you any more or less of a fan than me. Quit bitching about the music. Its not adding insult to injury because oh wait- the players like it! WOW! Again we are talking about 4-5 freaking songs. You will still hear the band and everything they play. At least in the case of this year, it prevents everyone from booing the players when the band doesnt play. Get over yourself and off your high horse you old fart
