Having been to a few other stadiums, and to Tiger games for 30+ years, our band is pretty active. Then TGBFTL is playing consistently for 3-4 hours....I don't have a problem with 6 songs being piped in for 30 seconds at a time.

or a few people post 100 times about how much they dislike it. The retards on this site do not make up an entire population. In case you havent noticed, there are 92,000 people in the stadium so a 50 people saying they dislike it doesnt mean everyone does.

that article cited 2 sources. I hardly give it any credibility what so ever. The piped in music is fine you douchebags. Did it ever occur to you that the band sometimes requests not to play? First priority goes to the band but if they sit on their asses, then the music comes in.

Given your age I'd say your lame arse response is about par for the fricking course. You probably don't have a problem with the students cursing either. You don't know what it was like in TS ten years ago, twenty years ago and so on. There is NO reason to EVER play the fricking Jock Jams song that Bama does Rammer Jammer and Ole Miss does Hotty Toddy to. Un-fricking-acceptable!!!!

Given your age, you are old and washed up and dont care to embrace new traditions. I never said anything about the student section cursing or anything like that so lets keep this argument in the direction of the music. So what if the band takes a break. I mean would you rather hear music or hoddy toddy? Something has to drone them out when the band doesnt play

it really sucks because everyone i was with just laughed every time Auburn did this shite early in the year, then i come home and we've started doing it.

Why don't they pipe in the appropriate cheer the band would play over the speakers while the band is setting up for halftime and at the start of the third quarter. That would be a nice alternative IMHO.

New traditions? Hells Bells, Crazy Train, Back in Black, Enter Sandman can be heard at any NFL/Arena game. Those aren't the type of traditions that should EVER make it to college football unless you're in the Big East, they love that shite.

Honestly I'd rather them not play anything at all even if the band isn't playing or is walking onto the field. Why does there have to be music every second of the game? If you have to be entertained every second of the game then maybe Death Valley isnt for you.

That's one of my big issues with it.

Did they really have to pick such tired cliches of songs?

You know, we are capable of being more imaginative than doing what everyone else does. I really don't have a problem with the music as long as it is at a minimum, and I want the timing of the pre-game Wicks announcement altered, but I would love to see us be more creative than we are being as of today...

You know what, the lights in tiger stadium arent tradition either the way you "traditionalists" think. There used to be no "saturday night in death valley" but ya know what, a new thing came along and people embraced it and now we have the great tradition that we have. Nobody is phasing out the band and thats what you people have to realize. There were a total of 4 songs played so get over it. If you dont like the music being played suggest something but the piped music isnt going away...

TS has been dead this year. Aside from the blocked kick against Bama, the place has been pretty average. If it takes piping in music to make the place look alive, I'm all for it.

I'm expecting them to play "Who let the Dogs Out" next year. May as well, the songs they play now are about on par with that.

I hate to say it, but it's true. The crowd was not a traditional TS crowd.

Personally I thought it was quite funny when LATE in the 4th quarter I think it was they played the Cars & Start It UP. Should have played that WAY earlier if they're gonna play it .. twas a little too late to get anything started!
