actually it'd be kind of awesome... I don't think a high profile college program has ever done one and it would make our fans look classy as hell

but then again you'd rather squirm at the thought of wearing a dye color you consider feminine

It's just unnecessary... Everyone's already very aware of breast cancer. Wear your ribbons if you want, but a pink-out is over-the-top and has never been done before FOR A REASON.

if another college's fans denigrates LSU/Tiger Stadium for a pink out, it says more about them than us.

I completely agree with both statements. Yes, it would be very classy, and yes it would make other teams look bad for making fun of us. Idk I just don't really like the idea of wearing pink at a football game. I'll wear one of my pink shirts to school for support, but I'm not to keen on wearing it to a football game.

i kind of thinking that beating the shite out of a team while wearing pink would be the ultimate display of dominance.

I think it will just look a little gay for a bunch of students to be wearing pink at a football game

I don't own a pink shirt. Give me a ribbon or something and I'll wear it.

WEAR PINK AND BREAST CANCER WILL GO AWAY!

WEAR PINK AND EVERYONE WILL BE AWARE OF BREAST CACNER

Tell me, who the hell doesn't know that breast cancer exists?

Other than the existance of the disease, the fact that there are organizations about it and the accepted color is pink, what exactly is the general 10th grade educated public gaining from seeing a pink stadium?

Does the pink shirt tell you how often to do self exams? if they are benifical? mammograms? MRI? risks of diagnositic tests? signs and symptoms of the disease? possible carcinogenic factors related to aquiring the disease? the reason behind the increase in incidence of breast cancer?

A pink shirt, ribbon, stadium, ect does nothing more than make people feel like they are supporting a cause. Unfortunately, unless the stores they bought the pink stuff from are contributing a portion of the sale back to research or patient care it really is missing the goal.

You are worse than the OP. You think you're right, he's just homophobic.

I work for one of the largest FOR PROFIT companies in the world - not US, internationally - and besides the millions in donations, the spotlight we contribute to makes someone who would be you -- well, less naive and self-serving.

would hate to see a pink gameday shirt where all proceeds go to cancer research, probably wouldn't help a bit.
