I'm gonna do a poll of students tomorrow...ask how many would wear pink clothes to the Kentucky game...guarantee it won't fly with 70% of students....I.E. the fans that actually matter to the team.

Don't get me wrong I love the color pink in general. I have three pink shirts, but for LSU football it just isn't kosher

It would be ridiculously hideous and dumb to the rest of the country watching the football game.

actually it would be kind of awesome... a team forcing the ball down their opponents throats on offense and headhunting on defense while their fans wore pink

that's swag right there

I can't vouch for his reasoning, but you can't say that it wouldn't feel odd wearing a color other than purple, gold, or white (with either purple or gold accents mixed in). I'll a ribbon on my shirt, but I'm not going to dedicate my shirt to it. Not trying to sound misogynistic, but wouldn't it make more sense for a men's sport to have a day dedicated to prostate cancer?

Do not like. Football and cancer shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence.

I love football. It is one of my favorite things. frick cancer. It is a horrible disease, that I abhor completely .

I don't want to mix them. At best, it's a buzz kill, at worst, you might die.

Since the football audience in mainly male, why is it all of the teams are not wearing brown for colon cancer or off white for prostate cancer, or black for lung cancer?

If the goal is to increase awareness of a deadly disease disease, why not red for heart disease which is a much larger killer of both sexes than breast cancer?

Another question, when all the players and fans are wearing pink do the cheerleaders that actually have something to worry about wear pink also?

I think the pink is supposed to make you think about all cancer and not just breast.

as far as it being a buzzkill, well you should use it as a reminder to always be on the look out for symptoms...I guess.

Why is everyone calling the OP a homophobe for thinking its a terrible idea to have a "Pink-out" in Tiger Stadium?? It's a horrible idea.

Whatever guys....take it or leave it...I just think it will look silly for a football stadium to be laden with pink shirts lol...I love my Tigers to much to be labeled by trolls as the powerpuff squad.
