I do know that, but thought he still would have been there today. Scrimmage was yesterday. Are they not allowing him to travel during spring practices?

You don't use a roster spot on a guy that will only be available for one game. And if you didn't notice the game was in Georgia, it isn't like they were just going to send the plane to pick him up after the scrimmage.

So if speed really doesn't matter then you are saying that if Ross is the best base-runner we have, he should always be the first pinch-runner when he is getting a rest from his catching duties?

Exactly what I want to know, but all these back seat coaches seem to already know that answer.

I am making an assumption but if Didier is our fastest bench player then our team is really really slow. But that could be possible and if so then coach made the right decision.

But it would have been for 2 games, nit just one because of the rain out. Just thought he would have been helpful.

Roster spot...so when Ware dresses when not affected by spring practice, someone else doesn't get to dress that game?

Didn't know there was a diffence in squads. How many players have to stay home when traveling? Does the same go for other sports as well?

Are you saying a plane was going to bring him back after the game Friday night, then take him back to Georgia Saturday night after the scrimmage? Really?

You can only have 25 active players on your roster each SEC weekend. So yes, if Ware was on the roster this weekend (and was getting flown back and forth between Baton Rouge and Athens) then someone else couldn't have been on the roster.

Already answered that one douche
No, you didn't. The travel squad was published Thursday night. Ware was not on it. Teams are limited to 27 players on the travel roster........................................douche.

Don't get all pissy at other posters just because you don't know what's going on.

Okay, you just confirmed what I posted earlier to you: you don't know what is going on.

Thanks.
