lol, ok.
Burrow was threading throws through drink straws making Brady look like a genius to one of the best WRs in the NFL.
Let's compare what Burrow/Chase are doing in the NFL and what Brady is doing in the NFL.

But I'm the idiot ? right.

He may not have called the plays in 2019, but ensminger had burrow in 2018 and ran the offense he wanted. It wasn't until Brady's concepts were weaved into the plan that the offense started to shine. So I thank him for whatever his contribution was to that magical 2019 season.

It’s like a great gumbo, it’s not a great gumbo unless you have all the ingredients.

Ensminger brought experience and stability
Brady brought in innovation
Burrow brought leadership, skill and swagger
Jefferson, Chase and Marshall brought explosiveness, diversity and consistency.
Helaire was the wildcard. He could fun it if catch it.
Moss and the OL raised their game to help bring us the greatest LSU O ever.

Slinger was also an excellent play-caller. Dude knew how to press the right buttons at the right times. We missed that in 2021.

He did, but one of the biggest things he brought was the ability to be a buffer between Ed and the running of the offense.

To be fair, Joe tore it up late in that season once he got acclimated

Bring in Joe Brady as an offseason speaker. He killed it when he was an analyst for Sean Payton.

That was due to his experiences in the SEC

That was part of the stability he brought to the table.

He and Burrow are the only reason Orgeron made it past 2018

Without Orgeron there would be no Burreaux nor Brady.

After all, it was a combination of Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, and Helaire as well as a good defense..
Take away any of those guys and there would be no National Championship nor Heisman.
Orgeron made it happen by bringing in the right personnel.

The Joe Brady hate is ridiculous

I don't think anyone hates Brady. I am thankful for what he did. He helped E bring some more modern concepts to the LSU offense and passing scheme. I also believe he gets way too much credit for 2019. What he brought was the concepts the Saints passing game uses. These were not his own idea. He just came here and taught LSU Sean Payton's offense. That is the complete truth.

Could we see him as an analyst or maybe Denbrock's passing game coordinator? Maybe CBK pull off his version of a Jay Johnson/Wes Johnson style hire? Saban is known for his coaching rehab projects. Maybe CBK starts his own.
Think of Brady, back in the booth, with no recruiting requirements beyond handshakes and maybe some whiteboard work on OV's, would be an interesting dynamic and nice storyline for LSU. Imagine what he could do for Walker Howard and the next crop of receivers coming in?

Speaking of idiotic takes….. Joe Burrow literally took the bengals to the freaking super bowl in his 2nd (1st full) year as an NFL QB. Meanwhile, Joe Brady got fired as OC from Carolina in the same time span.

I think it’s pretty obvious who made who look better.

Actually if u watch the tapes, a substantial portion of that offense - deliberately and smartly so - was allowing for 50/50 jump balls and chase and others to manhandle opponents. Burrow was also good at not turning 50/50 balls into 40/60 int balls which is easier said than done.

This is not to say Burrow didn’t make a lot of great small window throws, because of course he did.
