Did Ron Polk make good on his threat to take his name off the stadium at State?
A side note: I have seen LSU play many times at Starkville and Hoover but never made it to BR for the old Alex Box. Huge regret that I never made it there. I hope to make it to the new one. There is some real excitement surrounding the Cohen hire so hopefully we'll be back with the SEC West coming down to State and LSU - like it is supposed to be!

Thats awesome that most of the new seats have the backs on them. During a long game those old bleachers can do murder on one's back.

Skip would never go for that. HE has been adament that the stadium will be called ALEX BOX STADIUM.
Skip has done GREAT THINGS for LSU, but he will be the first to say that he is not the one who died a horrible death in service to our country. The stadium is named to honor Lt. Alex Box...and THAT is how it should always be.
This is not to say that Skip should not be honored for his service to LSU...just don't do so by taking Lt. Box's name of the ballpark.
