Now do MVB.
can I add in the yardage for the 3 drops that cost us the game?

His 4.7 ypa increases to 7.7 which would be average-above average had Green and Parker not fricked us out of a potential win when we were within 1 possession. Had we started with MVB and not had him thrown in the middle of the 3Q on the road against a top 5 team we may have had a shot. We knew we had no shot with Nuss

This is correct down to his last play where he ran himself into a sack

Kinda crazy the MVB got sacked more than Nuss isn’t it. He was even kind enough to fumble on one of them

Only if you go back and adjust for drops in all of LSU’s previous games but I’m guessing you won’t do that.

Suggesting it was Nuss’s inability to make a quick decision on where to go with the ball.

This has been his problem all along. He’s too slow in making decisions. He doesn’t see the field and misses seeing receivers that are open or he delivers too late. Kid just doesn’t have it to be successful at this level.

Maybe. Also not very hard to get a good pass blocking grade when you only have to hold a block for one second so I guess it goes both ways huh

What are you talking about? Where did I say anything about the line being good? The offense as a whole unit is fricking terrible.

This entire thread is about the PFF blocking grades for the offensive line…

I know the contrarian thing is your shtick but this might sense if Nuss didn’t also look like a retard when the O line gave him time

Yeah I’m not sure what you think I said. I’m not saying that Nuss is some great QB…

I can go 18-21 passing 3 yards past the line of scrimmage most of the time.

Comparing this to boxing, he was 18-21 on jabs but his opponent knocked him out cold with an uppercut.

Well on that terrible sack he took in the third quarter the announcers went into detail about how if he would have just stepped up and to the right, the pocket was very clean and he scrambled his way into the sack

Nuss has always had the pocket presence of a box of rocks.

I’d like to see what MVB can do with a full week of prep as QB1

Until then I’m not going to criticize what he did last night.

If Green has caught that third down pass when we on our own 6 yard line, you would not have posted this “what about” nonsense.

I mean, his last play and tried to spin around the defender who was on the outside of the pocket and took a 15 yard sack. He’s allergic to stepping up in the pocket. There was another play that he had all day and took a step back before throwing the ball 5 yards short of 2 wide open receivers.

The dude plays absolutely terrified. I don’t see how any NFL team could possibly buy into him when he’s this scared to play college competition.

Out top two wide receivers are midgets. No dogs out there like we’ve grown used to. And so many times multiple receivers in the same air space (congregated about 6-7 yards between the right hash and sideline). No wonder we are easy to defend.

And our RB damn near averaged as much per run and he doesn't take sacks
