That time frame was against shot defenses and just, by one week, excludes the bama game. shite if the bama game was even 2 weeks prior I wouldn’t be pushing back at all. It just feels like this stat was made up specifically to exclude the bama game

I like Burrow and think he's prime for a big year for LSU's standards.
But the 'top 5' label for a 3 game stretch is very misleading. Who did the other 120 QBs play during that same stretch, etc?

Joe doesn't even need to be heisman like for us to get to the play offs. Hopefully the new offense ends up working out, everything is in place for a big run (schedule wise and what we return).

He might have been weeks 11 thru the bowl game. But he wasn't for the entire year.
And after facing the 49th, 87th, 98th and 125th pass defenses, I would hope to god that he would be in the top 5 against those powerhouses.

He’s always been a cutthroat fricker but he didn’t have the X’s and Os to get results in the field.
Aranda provides him a strong base, and he seems to be willing to try and find something that works on offense.
