I don't see why people are argiuing in this thread.

It paints a positive picture for LSU. Some just can't stand that. Of all the crisis in the world, PFF needs to be totally evaluated if they say something good about Jeaux Burreaux.

People aren’t even arguing. It’s just that Ree and Buckeye want people to think Joe was a top 5 an last year. He wasn’t.

However I think he’s going to be a top 10 college an this year and think he is exactly what LSU needs at qb. If Joe and this O live up to their potential LSU could realistically win the whole damn thing and that’s what I’m rooting like hell for

Where have I said or even insinuated that? The stats are provided by Professional Football Focus. You just can't stand that is meant to be a good thing for LSU. This has nothing to do with me.

You don't appear to like Jeaux. You know he didn't get input of the schedule. He can only play the games. Sorry he disappointed you.

Has nothing to do with Joe. I love Joe, he is super gritty and extremely talented guy who I expect to have a big year this year. I am excited to see what he will do for this team this year with some more experienced weapons and some better RB's along with the changes offensively.

I was simply responding to Buckeye who constantly tries to push his agenda (don't even say he doesn't have an agenda). Has nothing to do with hating LSU or Joe.

At this point nothing else matters. Joes good, season starts in less than three weeks.

I'm happy with how he finished, expect him to pick up right there

cherry picked. small sample size. left out first 10 games
"Most recent" performance is a common statistical measure.

Look at gold prices, silver prices, commodity prices, stock prices... five year, one year, six month, one month, one week, etc are all valid samples.

It is not "cherry picking". It is one valid element of sound statistical analysis.

One cupcake, and two Final-AP ranked teams (11th and 16th)

Damn tough competition, IMO -

A&M and UCF weren't exactly world beaters on defense. But yes, he had good games against both of those teams.

I can't speak for anyone else but I just want to know how positive the statistics are. I've asked you already and you have nothing to say.

If I told you that for the past week I had a 92% consultation response time within the expected parameters does that sound good to you? I would hope you say you don't know because you don't have proper context.

Peej already called you out on your football knowledge and he may be on to something. Do you actually know anything about what you post?

His game vs A&M was a great game
.
UCF was overrated.

Big fish in a little pond living off what they did the year before.

Nah! Bitchers gonna bitch. Ree just exposes them.
Wonder what would happen if LSU would win it all.
Dr Kavorkian is deceased so they get no relief.

Sure

But I think 394 passing yards is very good regardless of their defense. They had a pretty good scoring defense

I don’t know why there is so much pushback in this thread, other than who the OP is (yeah I know he’s an arse).

There’s no reason not to be excited about Burrow though. He looks to be even better this year and will not be an impediment to LSU making the playoff.

I love this narrative. LSU fans would be upset if LSU won the national title. Makes perfect sense.

He did everything asked of him. He was great. But we also were just bombing the ball on a team that didn’t have anywhere near the players to keep up with us.

That's just your opinion.

PFF's opinion is that Joe Burrow was a Top-3 ranked QB in weeks 11 thru postseason.

That’s more of a stat that an opinion.

What does that mean is opinion.

I really Like Joe but it’s sorta predictable that he would have good stats vs Rice.

They were probably the worst team in college football last year.
