Considering Petrino's game day antics I'm thinking this snub was intentional:

quote:

LSU Coach Les Miles said he placed a call to Petrino shortly after he heard about Uekman's death. Miles was unable to reach Petrino, which he said was "not unexpected in any way."

Word is that Petrino is pretty much of a azzhola. To say that he isn't the most loved in and out of coaching circles would be an understatement from what I hear.

Uncommon cents, you have NO sense. You don't even have the slightest idea about Petrino. He's very benevolent in our state especially to Children's Hospital and he loves the UofA and his players. He's very happy here and we're happy with him. I'd MUCH rather have Petrino as a head coach than that stupid, backward Miles. As soon as the Saban influence at LSU runs out, you'll drift back to oblivion chasing the upper tier programs like 'Bama and Arkansas. I hope you play 'Bama in the championship game. There is NO doubt, 'Bama will have it's way with you. GO Georgia, Go HOGS!!!

Methinks thou protesth too much.

Saban influence? WTF are you babbling about?

Yes if our coach is a complete dumbass, then what does it say about the coach he just took behind the woodshed? Congrats on having a "really smart coach" , we'll just have to settle for the idiot who is on the verge of winning his 2nd NC.

I love trolls. Miles has been at LSU longer than Saban was and has a better win %.

Holy lord. Exactly what is Saban's influence these days in favor of LSU? Are you mentally ill?

And, whew, the secondary laugh here is referring to Arky as an "upper tier" program. Cmon. You can't be serious.
