You make it sound like its all about YOU where LSU goes. I want to go where we have the better chance of winning.

Well, in a sense, when it comes to my personal opinion of where I'd like to see the Tigers play in a bowl game, it is certainly about me (I make no apologies about the fact that I would prefer to see LSU in DFW this year). But I also think it would be great for LSU as a program as well for the many reasons mentioned.

And of course I want to see LSU win (that has nothing to do with this, though...LSU doesn't choose bowls based on who we think we can beat and who we think we cannot beat). Like I said, if we play like we're capable of, we can beat anyone of the likely opponents. And if we play like crap, we can lose to any of the likely opponents, including Michigan State.

It doesn't bother me in the least if some want the Cap1 bowl... I totally understand some of the reasoning behind that and everyone is without question entitled to their opinion/preferences. Me, personally, though, I'd prefer the Cotton for our Tigers this year. If we hadn't played in the Cap1 last year, I might very well have a different opinion and preference this year. But we did play in the game last year.

A petition is not going to change the minds of the people who put us in the bowl. The only thing that affects (in our case) where we go is winning games.

I prefer the Cap One since the Cotton Bowl the 7th is after school started and it will be a fly in/fly out where I'll probably go to orlando for 3 or 4 days.

Of the Big 12 schools, I think we could physically own A&M on both sides of the ball. They are on a little streak, kudos to them...it's been about 4 years too late. Their qb play is vastly overrated, although Tannehill has gotten the wheels turning.

However, all the hype surrounding him, and A&M only put up 24 on a downtrodden Texas team, 9 on Nebraska, and had to have a comeback to beat Baylor. They are not THAT good...and we owe them.

Speaking of settling scores, we owe the Huskers one for the Orange and Sugar Bowls we've lost to them.

So screw it, I say Cotton.

I do think your DLine could own our young Oline, but if you think your Oline is going to own this DLine, I got some C notes I'd be willing to put up as a friendly bet.

A&M's rush D shut down some of the best rushing Os in the country this year. I would feel very confident that A&M would shut down Ridley, JJ, Ford and Co.

This would be a very low scoring game.

A&M boards are now saying that LSU to Cotton is a done deal...(supposedly spoke to someone with a connection to Cotton Bowl Athletic Association)

If Oklahoma beats Nebraska, Cotton Bowl is TexasA&M vs LSU

If Nebraska beats Oklahoma, Cotton Bowl is Oklahoma vs LSU
